Testing Information

Students enrolled in 11th grade will be given the Oklahoma College- and Career-Ready Assessment (CCRA), which consists of two parts.  For part 1, each district will choose to administer either the ACT or SAT, including the writing section. Part 2 consists of a Science Assessment which is aligned to the Oklahoma Academic Standards for Science and a U.S. History Assessment which is aligned to the Oklahoma Academic Standards for U.S. History.

Students are required to take the CCRA during the state testing window.  This assessment will be used for state accountability purposes.

Elgin High School has chosen to administer the ACT with writing.  The window for the ACT to be given at Elgin High School is April 7, 8, 9, and April 14, 15, 16, 2020.

Students do not need to register for the ACT that is given at Elgin High School.  The junior counselor will register students for the test. The test that will be given at EHS is free for students.  A parent/guardian will need to complete the ACT Informed Consent Form (link below) to allow students to fill out demographic information prior to the ACT test if they wish for their child to be allowed to do so.
